Chef Enam Chowdhury has spent his entire career in the upper echelon of hospitality with over 30 years of experience in luxurious hotels and restaurants in Great Britain, Thailand, South Africa, Italy, and the USA. He is an acclaimed chef &; maître d, and a Fromateur de Fromage designation certified by the Artisanal Cheese Company and La Picholine, New York, he is also a sommelier as well as a 6star Butler. Enam sharpened his skills locally at The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, but it was the position of Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director for Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards that brought him to Northeast Texas. His cuisine ranges from Asia to Europe and the Americas. Currently, the Executive Chef at The Chophouse on Bankhead in Mount Vernon, Chef Enam brings his special touch to the growing epicurean scene in Northeast Texas.

Karen Chowdhury has spent the first part of her career in education, teaching 2nd and 3rd graders. She retired after 30 years of service. Since retiring, she has started a new chapter working in the restaurant industry alongside her husband. Her duties have been running the front of the house at Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards and also working in the production area bottling wine & maintaining the grape vines and vineyard. Karen also worked on numerous catering events for The Chophouse on Bankhead. While working in the restaurant industry, Karen has organized large catering events such as Harvest on Main in Mount Vernon and Hearts for Hospice Ball in Mount Pleasant.
In her free time, Karen enjoys nature and is especially fond of her hummingbirds, deer, and all the different varieties of birds that come by Thistle farms every day. She puts food out for them every morning and finds a great deal of enjoyment in taking care of nature.
Karen is also a very avid gardener and has had a garden of vegetables in her backyard every season. She also has a wall of fresh herbs for her husband Enam to use on a daily basis.
She loves spicy foods and has been growing a vast variety of hot peppers.
Karen is an expert in hospitality and is looking forward to welcoming each and every one of the new guests who will come to dine at The Angus Grille.
